During this period, we utilized the PCE-FWE 20-N weather station. To enhance its functionality, we customized the pluviometer and created a custom solar shield using plant pot dishes for optimal sun protection.

August 2018 - Present

Davis Vantage Pro 2 with 24/7 Fan
  • August 2018:

    Start of using the Davis Vantage Pro 2 weather station with 24/7 fan operation. The fan is connected to the power supply during the day and relies on battery power at night, ensuring continuous and reliable measurements.

  • May 2023:

    Replacement of the faulty motor with an identical one to maintain accurate weather data and optimal functioning.

  • December 29, 2023:

    Addition of a solar radiation sensor to enhance weather monitoring capabilities. This sensor measures and records solar radiation intensity, providing valuable climate and solar energy data.

    Upgrade of the rain gauge to the "Tipping Trough Replacement Kit for Vantage Pro2, Single bucket tilt system for Davis Instruments rain gauges," compatible with original dual bucket rain gauges. The new model, identified as code 7345.147, is designed for improved accuracy and durability.
